Surf & Serve Trip to Carambola Surf House

Join Surfing in the Sixties on their fall trip to Carambola Surf House in the Dominican Republic for a Surf & Serve travel experience. On this trip you will have top notch accommodations, dine on 3 family-style meals per day, and enjoy a continental breakfast before your morning paddle out. The daily schedule typically includes a continental breakfast served at sunrise, an early morning surf session at a local break, and then a full breakfast on the property afterwards. This is typically followed by a second surf session and then lunch served poolside. Following lunch, travelers will be invited to participate in the "service" portion of the trip. Surfing in the Sixties is partnering with the Niños de la Luz mission where travelers will work together on a project at their property. This work will be done in the afternoons and will provide an extremely rewarding experience to everyone who participates! On Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17th, we will partner with the Caribbean Surf Connection to host a surf competition for the top young talent in the Dominican Republic. Different roles and responsibilities will be given out to each of our travelers, and I can assure you this is an incredible experience! Carambola Surf House

The Carambola Surf House has so much to offer. Excellent staff family owned and operated. Upon our arrival we were greeted at the airport in Puerto Plata. All the airport personnel were so friendly and quick to guide us to our destination. Carambola staff were on the spot to escort us to paradise. We checked some local spots along the way grabbed a bite to eat. Friendliness everywhere locals and expats. Then we saw the beautiful Caribbean waters OMG so beautiful. In total aaahhh we arrived at the Carambola surf house the accommodations were amazing and comfortable. We quickly got acclimated grabbed our surfboards and headed to the break in walking distance. When we arrived back we had dinner. Now every meal was prepared to perfection gosh I can elaborate so much on so many details. But came to surf and that we did. We were shown the best spots to get barrelled. Shread, or longboard or chill. So beautiful too wow. The staff also does professional photography videos pictures. Guiding us at the breaks and safety is priority too.
